Referred by Dr Bill Chan and Dr Daniel Ng, our Founder Ivan Chong got in touch with General Manager of Mercy Medical Management Program of Families of SMA Foundation, Mrs. Elisa Chen Skilton. Elisa would like to have an IT system for the program that could handle the storing and updating of patient records, as well as to facilitate the communication between medical professionals and patients.
The objective of the MMM Programme (hereinafter “MMM”) is to ensure that SMA and FSMA-affiliated patients on home ventilation being looked after at home can have access to some professional medical monitoring assistance without resorting to avoidable hospital care, especially for non- emergency cases.
This will hopefully ensure patient well-being and stability to help patients and families circumvent any scenario of preventable deterioration and unwarranted rescue at hospitals.
This way, patients can obviate the daunting prospects of seeking help in public hospitals. The programme can contribute towards easing the workload of over-burdened hospitals.
Mrs. Elisa Chen Skilton, General Manager of Mercy Medical Management Program of Families of SMA Foundation would like to find a tool or build an IT system from scratch that could handle the storing and updating of patient records, as well as to facilitate the communication between medical professionals and patients.

Summary
A discovery call and a follow-up digital consulting session had been arranged.
Our Founder Ivan Chong helped Elisa research a tool called Lark, which could fulfill the need of the program at its current size and scale for free.
The tool can handle the required functions from creation of patents data database, allocating access rights to the appropriate medical professionals to view and update the data, as well as to enhancing the communication between medical professionals and patients.
The shareholders and core members of the program had reviewed the tool, and agreed that this could be a solution that could fulfil their need.
